- Developed the recipes and implemented the manufacturing of some of the inclusions used in these products.
- Extended the range of Rocky Roads made by adding new concepts that eventually created a trend in that particular market at the time.

- Managing all aspects of the factory operation (Becka’s Chocolates was just one of the companies in a larger business group dealing mostly in a non-food related field).

- Developed, implemented and managed a HACCP based, tailored Food Safety Programme
- Documented SOP covering all factory and retail aspects.
- I have developed more than 10 new products over 2 years from recipe to the “market stage” using very low budgets with 4 of them being very successful products becoming top sellers in a matter of a few months.

- Improved and adapted the technology as required within very tight budgets (changed the use of some old technology in order to make new products).
- Made the base of a design for the packaging of a new product range. The design was done in such way that the printer could use the same printing plates for 3 different designs except one plate that was used for adding all the specific product information and the whole look of the design was changed by changing the colour scheme for the other plates. This resulted in decreasing the set up cost for printing by about 50% (needing only 8 printing plates instead of 16 for the whole project).
- Found and negotiated contracts with new customers (brought on board 6 new customers/distributors over a period of 6 months beside my other duties).
- I have assisted new owners in business transition - from basic accounting duties (setting up invoicing software and issue invoices to production planning and supplying.
